wanna hear some bullshit relating to windows or lenovo? I have a x220, with windows on one drive and linux on the other. Any ways the internet connection was dodgy as fuck on windows where id loose packets like every 10-15 seconds. I ran ping for like 10 min straight and just watched, and like clockwork the packtes would get lost or the response time would be like 300ms. So I thought it was the wireless NIC. Bought a new one on amazon. plugged it in. Still the same fucking problem. So then I booted onto linux and ran the ping test. No problems whatsoever. (I know i should have tested it out on arch before buying nic, but i was sure it was a hardware problem) but anyways. This means windows or lenovo was constantly communicating with my laptop and just fucking shit up. What the fuck im pissed. At least its helped me decide to move from windows on my desktop over to arch for good.
