Typing without looking at the keyboard ya dingus. The hardcore mode would be with your eyes closed and knowing when you made a mistake.

Learning how to touch type has to be one of the most easiest skills you can teach yourself. It only took me a while because I'm lazy as fuck.

I mostly can't focus, but when I do focus I can reach around 70 wpm. Normally it's around 40-50, depending on how I feel.
meh I still occasionally look when I use accented letters or when I'm not typing in english, also when I'm not using the keyboard I'm used to.
All in all it's the easiest skill I've ever learnt.

I don't program but it amazes me that some people do and do it without touch typing
I can also do it with one hand, the keyboard turned and my eyes closed. I don't know where the buttons on a leyboard are but when I think of a letter my fingers go in the right direction anyway.
Too much gaming in the past I guess.
I switched to Colemak to force myself to learn how to properly touch type instead of using 3-4 fingers per hand at 120wpm and I'm happier and more successful now. Also, my dick has grown approximately 2 inches in girth.
