Firstly I'm neutral, I own a tower and an iMac for different purposes.
Secondly this is definitely wrong. The iMac is constantly hot to the point I can feel it on my face when it's overheating. Turning the fans up a little helps, but it's more loud than traditional fans running at stock speeds.
The display is also sealed poorly so there's dust between the backlight and the lcd
