What is /g/s opinion on malwarebytes?
>>51787889
nobody?
>>51787889
Bretty gud
It just werks
Used to be /g/'s AV of choice but it's not discussed much lately.
>>51787889
it's literally the recommended antivirus by /g/ (alongside with common sense)

Usually do a search every month or so. Often finds something suspicious. So I can't complain.
Used to be the best when I was out and about doing on the call Pc repairs and shit for fun. Then they changed the interface and now it looks like bloatware ransomware pleb shit. Gave it 0/10 rating after that for a little while, now bottom line is it's still the least shittiest of the shit malware removal/detection programs so.
tl;dr only serious option still

tfw two lifetime keys
>>51768672
It works very well, nice for clearing out friends computers.
>>51788449
How to get them?
>>51788449
Isn't it forever free now or something?
>>51788529
no, it's like 20 euro a year or a bit more i think
>>51788519
you had to be fast and buy theem before they switched to subscription
>>51788154
It's not an av, it's not meant to replace your av either.

no, not since version 2.2.0
>>51788089
I came here to post this
Botnet
>>51788597
Welp, still pretty nice of them to not demonize pirates
>>51788577
Just because it's named Anti-Malware does not make it not an AV. It does the same shit.
>>51788622
how is that nice? pirates are literally stealing food from childrens mouths. if you don't kill pirates on sight you might as well be raping a five year old little girl at her first dance recital and then dropping her body from the rafters onto her parents. i PERSONALLY know a guy who had to switch to homemade coffee rom starbucks because of rampant tv and film piracy so what i just said isn't a joke.
>>51787889
Completely unnecessary. All that garbage is. All you need to do is delete that Windows spyware from your hard drive, and install a reasonable IS instead.
>>51788587
>Dat feel when i pirated their software just to get a free licence
>>51788449
I'm still considering nabbing a lifetime key but I rarely if ever get malware and usually it's more efficient in the long run to just reinstall. That and the free scanner is more then good enough.
>>51788605
nice source mentioning. keep rocking.
I don't know. I mean I bought a lifetime license, but my scans always come up clean. It makes me wonder if it's actually doing anything.
I guess no-script is really working a charm by not letting anything get on my system in the first place.
Bullshit does nothing on my z1, althought i have clearly malware popups on the device
>>51788796
call it's bluff by running questionable programs through Virustotal online.
>>51788669
shut up, faggot.
