Just pulled the trigger
whaddya think /g/?
Getting the same monitor before the year ends, if I can't find a better one.
>>51785789
good job m8
seems like a solid all rounder
Can't go wrong with an ultrasharp.
>$600
>60Hz
What a waste.
>>51785769
>60hz
Why even live?
>>51785769
Are you Dutch?
>>51786136
Epin is an old /b/ meme, for a couple of days anyway
>>51786066
>>51786116
meh 60 is enough for , its a trade off I know
>>51786181
>Epin is an old /b/ meme
That is not the reason why I asked
Dutch - yes or no?
Can downscaling to 1920x1080 in games not look like shit? I'm looking for a nicer screen, but my r9 380 can't handle the bump in resolution
>>51786199
oh? strange but, Australian ackshally
I have the 25" version, its fantastic.
>>51786203
U2713hm here.
It will look a little bit blurry.
Couple of beers solve the problem tho
>>51786227
ahh okay then.
A Dutch friend of mine told me he was getting it this week and he posts on /g/ a lot, I thought you was him.
Well anyway, enjoy your new monitor m80, and welcome the 1440p master race :^)
>>51786181
It's a waste when you could spend just a little more money and get a 144Hz meme sync IPS 1440p display.
What's the purpose of more than 60 Hz?
Can't you run it at 24 Hz to watch films and movies?
I just bought an XB270HU but it's got 2 dead pixels and I'm going to return it. It is worth spending the extra £200 for the PG279Q or should I save an extra £100 and get the U2715H instead?
>>51787885
Additionally, if I was to save the money and go for the U2715H is there are reason to get it instead of the GW2765HT which is another £100 cheaper.
>>51786479
>What's the purpose of more than 60 Hz?
Lower input lag, improved overdrive performance (faster pixel response) and better looking fast motion in material without baked in motion blur (e.g. games).
get the u2515h unless you really want those extra 2 inches, the pixel density on the u2515h is amazing.
>>51788333
>£130 cheaper than the U2715H
Damn that's pretty tempting but 25 in isn't much of an upgrade from 23, but it's hard to argue with that price.
>Ultrasharp
Did they finally fix the stupid background lighting PWM flicker problem?
Or do you still have to pay premium if you don't want to fuck up your eyes with CRT tier flickering?
>8ms
absolutely disgusting
>>51785769
It is fine.
>>51789030
I don't think any model from 2014 or later has used raw PWM for backlight control.
It was fucking atrocious in the U2412M, even caused visible motion artifacting on top of the blur.
>>51789082
FALCON HAS SPOKEN
I own one too, its great.
>>51785769
got the u2713hm and love it ever since
I have three U2414H's. Basically the same thing but, 23.6" 1080p.
They're excellent. I'm trying to sell them though, because I want the U3415W. Which is also similar, but 21:9, 3,440x1,440, 34".
