What does /g/ think of phones with unusual colors, or non-traditional materials like wood?
If you have one, post a pic. Have you had any issues with it looking bad or garish in public?
I think Motorola, Asus, and OnePlus offer the customizable backs, any others?

I've got a moto x 2014.
I'm glad phones are moving away from glass slabs. Variety is nice. Thinking about replacing the back of mine with something else.

bump, any others?
I wish all phone cases were made out of titanium.

Fine with me, but so is plastic. I don't really try to wear status symbols, so it doesn't really matter much if my phone looks unique.
Technically speaking, I'm sure coated wood would be good enough for me, but so is plastic.

Xiaomi, and of course 3rd parties in China making cases for Xiaomi phones.

Black leather back G4, really enjoying it actually.

It looks nice, but I hate the feel of the stitching.

Alu frames with hardened glass backs aren't standard fare yet, either, so also this...

I have a wood back on my MI4 note. It's very nice.
I just wish the stupid fucking thing didn't have an elevated camera bump. I have to put it in a TPU case just so the lens doesn't get scratched on a flat surface. Now it feels crap anyway.

Some of the leather ones. Well, I guess you get the idea, tons of not entirely conventional covers...

Isn't the lens under hardened glass?
My Redmi 1s also has an elevated camera bump but I never protected it with anything, and it has been just fine so far.

Never had a case for my HD2 or 920. They were fine.
MI4 camera lens had noticeable scratches on it after a week. I wish some 3rd party sold a sapphire glass replacement.
