what are the best themes and icon packs for ubuntu and Linux in general?
download elementary icon pack and really like it but im look for a theme now.

You should try to KDE 5 plasma desktop theme. It's pretty golden.
Why don't you just use OSX? Ubuntu basically tries to copy all of OSX except it isn't even close to as good.

idk whats with all the ubuntu hate. unity looks comfy plus ubuntu just works out of the box, it isn't the lightest DE and the amazon spyware feature is optional. idk why people keep hating. some people dont have the time to install linux from just the bare essentials and just need something thats comfy and works.

Because a lot of people use it and people like to brag about the distro they use themselves. I have used Arch and tons of other distros. I now use ubuntu gnome and it's great. I like unity though, it looks good so I am probably a minority here.
