Opinions on AMD's FX-9590? Considering it for its 8 cores at 4.7ghz on average and attractive price
Been looking around in reviews but no one seems to talk about it too much.

guys ive been in the struggle deciding between an 4690k and an 8320e for a while now.
today i found out that getting an 8320e bumps up the wattage to ~700. my current PSU is 500watt. that obviously means it cant support an 8320e, so buying a new PSU bumps the cost of 8320e higher.
does that mean i can finally let the AMD cpu dream die and just go for the 4690k?

Yes it is. I'm working on 5,2ghz. but the real issue is the sound the fans make to keep it sub 60c under max load. so I mostly just run it at 5ghz to run fans on quiet.

8320 here, OC'd to 4.3 on a 212 Evo. I know jack shit about overclocking and it never goes above 45C at 100% load.
