Hey /g/, need some help here....

I have special permissions in my office intranet.
I was entering into a few employers folders just to see if I find some interesting stuff...
Just found a file named "Agent(for employee).exe" inside the IT chief folder. It looks that it's a virus.

> Agent(for employee).exe

I've found this info untill now:

Product: Agent(for employee).exe
Company: Keylogger Spy Monitor,Inc.
Description: Agent 安装

> What should I do?

I dont know if the stakeholders knows about that. The IT guy have a good relationship with the top manager.

> Do you guys think they can use this tool to spy us, the employees?

> ITT: or my IT chief is a dumb or he's installing keyloggers in the employees computers...

I'm not scared.... just trying to figure if the IT guy is hacking us without the executives direct order..

There's lots of ppl in my office that enter in bank accounts, emails, social networks,etc...

A few weeks ago a girl just lost 5k+ to a bank thief

also the IT guy is lazy as fuck and he just openned a insurance broker firm...

we're an accounting office.... if he infect our network he'll get a lot of sensitive data about a few of the richest guys and firms in the city....

it sounds like a good plan

Tell them that you found a keylogger in your pc, if it is from the company then you cant do nothing, If it isnt then you are using a compromised computer.

Monitoring the company's equipment is not a crime.
>>
>>51756472
You shouldn't use the computer of your workplace for personal use.
>>
>>51756472
you should never use the company's pc as your personal pc.

IT guy here. How do you know he's doing it under the direction of management?

waste of time, imo but some people are crazy
>>
Report it to the guy ranked below the top manager.
>>
>>51756372
They're IT's computers. Yes, they are probably (depending on jurisdiction, can't give you legal advice, etc) allowed to spy on you when you're using their computers. You probably even already agreed to it - any IT policy there which mentions monitoring? There more than likely is.

Unless you're the CEO and you weren't aware, business as fucking usual.

Don't do personal shit on work computers.

>>51756702

>>51756731

>i've found the keylogger client inside the IT chief personal folder

Worked at a place that used key loggers and periodic screen shots thanks to a couple employees that watched port all day and a somewhat neurotic boss. ALL company computers had key logging software. Even the CEO, since he felt it was a safeguard against someone hacking his computer when he wasn't there. Which doesn't make sense, but again, neurotic.
>>
>sysadmin is keylogging to spy on users
>garnered this evidence whilst abusing my network permissions to spy on users

Just fucking kill yourself you hypocrtically sack of DOGSHIT.
