vo=opengl-hq:scale=ewa_lanczossharp:cscale=ewa_lanczossoft:prescale=nnedi3:nnedi3-neurons=64:scale-antiring=0.8:cscale-antiring=0.9
hwdec=no
What would you guys use as an inbetween the given high and very high settings for vo? I'm on an r9 390 on kernel 4.2 and nnedi3 straight gives me frame drops in 16|32|64 :(
when a youtube video is paused for long enough, when you resume it the video will not buffer any further.
this creates a cut-off point in the video, when you reach it the playback will cease and you have to completely restart the process.
Is there a way to fix or simplify this?
Can mpv/youtube-dl be configured to restart buffering during playback or even just a simple "F5 refresh"?

I honestly just usevo=opengl-hq. That's it, man.
>>51754766
This, try a 1:1 compare with the settings and a good source for the video
>>51754733
I don't have this problem.
>>51754976
I can't seem to recreate the problem even though I was getting it a bunch of time yesterday so it's highly possible I'm just retarded.
>>51753851
Can I use Nnedi3 with a 7850?
>mpv ppa somehow has packages for 16.04 but not 15.*
Are you kidding me? The entire reason I switched to Ubuntu is to avoid shit like this.
I'm still going to compile it.
>>51753851
Display-sync with interpolation is much more important than nnedi3
Does mpv on windows work with SVP yet? If not I'm not using it.

>SVP
mpv isn't made for idiots.
>>51757942
You don't like silky smooth 60fps?
>>51757949
I don't like heavy artifacting and soap effect caused by the forcing on content that wasn't created to be 60fps at 60fps.
