Newfag here, I wanna get started with programming. Which language do I learn first and why?

FORTRAN77
Learn you some Haskell, OP.
You will never need to learn another language again.
Most importantly, it doesn't matter all that much. Most of the general concepts are very much transferrable between most languages.
My recommendations would be Python, Lua or C. Just pick anything that's at least semi-popular and start learning it. Don't waste too much time cherrypicking the "right" one to learn first.
Start off with English, first.

Python.
it's easy and popular
C++
pythawn
Java imo. It's almost completely obsolete today but it's a ridiculously easy language to learn and 90% of it will transfer when you move to C or python.

Assembly.
It's easy to learn, very simple and it teaches you how to not be a fucking moron when coding.
Then move up to C. Then move up to C++.

Learn Java, then upgrade to C# when you start to feel confident. Do not fall for the python meme, it will teach you very poor habits early on.
