Building a budget gayming PC for my friend. He'll mostly be playing shit like LoL and CSGO on it, but also a few more demanding games like Black Ops 3. How does this look?

Bump?
not a bad build but I'd do an i5 instead of an i3
>>51739459
Looks pretty good desu senpai
>>51739459
Solid, no complaints. Refreshing to see somone build something different than the standard i5 970 maymay. Pull the trigger
>>51739459
Go for the i5, take out ssd.
No neex for you to get the anniversary mobo its just a version for the g3258.
>>51742533
I only selected it because it was the cheapest board without a shitty chipset like B81 or something
>>51742404
I don't think he needs anything better than the i3. An SSD should be a much more noticeable performance boost
>>51739459
Looks good.
>>51742161
>i5 970 maymay
...Does that make that a bad choice or is it just the most popular one?
I just put http://pcpartpicker.com/p/j232vK together based on my brother's build. I have RAM and hard drives (including a Samsung SSD) already, but what do you think?
>>51739459
380x and not 970 or 980
>>51742975
SSD is nice for main system responsiveness /etc but if you're gaming on a budget loading times generally take a backseat to frametimes.
Have the same cpu. Been go so far.
>>51739459
how would this be for future customization?

>>51743919
I would get a 390 instead. The 970 at $310 isn't a terrible deal but in a year once dx12 titles come out, the 390 will destroy it. Also stay away from corsair CX series PSUs.
Funnily enough, this is coming from someone with a 970 and a CX500m
dump the SSD and get an i5 it will be worth it and you can always upgrade to an SSD some time after
isnt the i3 a bottleneck in todays standards, or has time changed?
1 stick of ram
Do you literally even know how ram works?
>>51745774
Wow. Didn't even realize I had gotten 1x8 lol. I was just quickly throwing this build together and didn't pay any attention at all to the ram. Fixed now
>>51744041
Case is hideous, no cooler, h97 with an unlocked cpu.
>>51739459
>i3
i'd rather not desu lad
>>51739459
>>51739459
>i3
>HyperX RAM
>AMD Graphics
but the worst of all
>ZALMAN
>ZALMAN
>ZALMAN
>ZALMAN
Oy vey anon pls no
>>51743919
its definitely a solid choice, its very popular for a reason
>>51742161 just can't stand not being a special snowflake
>>51747049
nvidea is laeges ahead of AMD you fucking brand loyal fucktard
>>51746997
>people shitpost about how AMD are kikes
>people shitpost about how NVidia are a mafia
What the fuck are you supposed to get then?
>>51747099
Welcome to /g/
>>51739459
Looks good, one of the better builds I've seen lately.
>>51747099
Nothing.
Grown men aren't supposed to play video gaymez and if you need a workstation graphics amd FirePro or nvidias selection is fine.
>>51739459
remove GPU
Get an i5 and save up for a GPU. Use the i5's iGPU in the meantime, I recommend doing this since it gives your friend more room to upgrade, if he wants to get a better processor later on he'll be stuck with an useless i3.
The iGPU can max out lol and get ~40-60 fps on BO3 on low.
Everyone plays CSGO on low anyway which he should get 60+ fps on.
Best the best poor fag cooler? Looking for something that can take 2 fans right out the box, have tons of fans so included fan quality is not a concern for me. Cooling a i3 4170 for now and a 4770k later.
even though this build is super poorfag just eat the $40 for the 8350. i3 doesn't hold up.
>>51745774
Nothing wrong with 1 stick of ram. Dual channel performance increase over single channel is negligible anyways.
Not op but for he same purposes, is amd a meme?? or can I rely on fx-6300 + 2gb gpu?
I mean, I read games like battleblock theatre don't really need 6 cores to perform. But what do you think?
Battlefront will be played there too.
