how can i stream the video from a torrent?
on linux.
While or from? Bit torrent grabs readily available chunks out of order when downloading. You can tell it to download sequentially, but this greatly slows things down. You can use VLC to stream the video. It doesn't complain if the video isn't complete.

thanks. is there anyway to do it on transmission?

>transmission

By grabbing sequentially you ruing the point of having a distributed system. Enjoy only getting to 50% done because everyone only downloads the beginning of videos.

I used to use peerflix
It still works. I just don't pirate anymore.

Do you mean download sequentially? I would assume so. Just locate the video file and open it with VLC. The stream will probably take a dump at the last point downloaded when you first start streaming though, even if the file is completed downloading when you get to that point.

just use popcorn time if you want to watch as it torrents

There's also https://www.popa.cr, in browser version of popcorn time.

have literally never had this happen
>>51730268
can you choose something other than YIFY though?
>>51730268
its working. thanks
>>51730709
Drag and drop the torrent file into the window.
>>51730074
vuze can do it, but then you gotta use vuze

Transmission is actually pretty good. Lacking in a few areas but good none the less
>>51730298
Why are people trying to centralize this. it's only going to end badly for them
>>51730074
search for torrent-mount on github, thank me later.

Why will it? It's no different to streaming content on sites like put locker etc. You're not storing or seeding the data.
