The thing is, SSD wear is determined by read/write cycles, while traditional HDDs wear out by loss of magnetism. so excessive torrenting will impact an SSD's longevity compared to the negligible impact torrenting has on HDDs.
but a torrent now and then won't make a difference. just don't use it as an initial buffer drive before writing it to an external HDD as standard procedure.

Im asking. Back when it first came out there was a big stink about it not handling permissions correctly, mostly in contrast to the cyanogen tool doing things properly, that being one of the reasons xposed launched before the cyanogen tool, quick and dirty vs slow and secure.
Id like to use xposed, it seems to have a lot of neat plugins, but if its just one giant security flaw I cant mitigate its really not worth it.

Search for Adaway on Fdroid.
Install it.
