Even fucking nvidia writes better drivers than these shitass morons, and I say that after having been bluescreened by a fresh install nvidia driver.
Every fucking time when a computer is slow as shit and some programs even refuse to load at all, it turns out to be because their completely mysterious and unexplained "rapid storage" driver is installed.
Their integrated graphics suck ass and don't belong in a cpu in the first place. The driver for those graphics sucks ass as well, as does the settings program that doesn't have any useful settings.
Their wifi cards and drivers fucking suck as well.
They are literally incapable of producing anything of good quality.

I get these points at work that.add incentive to doing overtime that can be redeemed for mostly stupid shit. I don't have any computer speakers and they had the bose companion 20 multimedia desktop speakers, redeemed almost all my points to get them since I won't. Be.working at that job come middle this. Best Buy slave here. I can tell you right off the bat we get a lot of returns and warranty claims on the following products:
- Beats anything
- Samsung TVs, tablets, and smart watches
- Dell laptops
- Lenovo laptops
- Apple stuff (usually because they don't know how to use it, though)
- Insignia shit (obviously, it's the cheapo Best Buy brand)
I rarely see anything from Sony come back.

Funnily enough, it's almost always an "issue" with connecting to the internet. Usually has something to do with them accidentally disabling the WiFi adapter by pressing whatever F key toggles it on and off.

Dell business class laptops are actually pretty good but they are hit or miss - last laptop I had from work was a top of the line model and it was a fucking trainwreck in terms of stability, heat and noise but the current one is rock solid. Not a full keyboard though so that's a negative.

This one is a mixed bag.
Office is still master of its domain. Active directory somehow hasn't been topped by other offerings. SQL Server is pretty damn good. Their hardware traditionally was top notch.
And then there's Windows 8+, their mobile division, the Xbone, etc

I interviewed for a reasonably high-level tech support position at Sonos and turned them down.
They "lost" my accommodation somewhere through the interview cycle, meaning I had to interview with various people eight times. They hired so many people that many of the employees work in the hallways. There's CAT6 taped to the ground, and the general atmosphere reeks of startup and quick cash-outs.
My position elsewhere in the private industry would bring a salary of 150 to 200k for what I interviewed for. They offered me:
85k
15k in options with a 4 year maturation
A parking pass
The last one is great, see, there aren't enough parking spots for employees, so everyone parks on the street and has to go move their car every 45 minutes due to zoning laws. Unless of course you "get there early". I asked how early that would be, they said to make sure you get one, two hours was usually normal. So, if you're not there at 6AM, you're not getting a parking spot.
I told them no, they couldn't believe it. They countered by offering another 15k of options, I said no. They then raised the offer to 105k and I still said no.
PS: they have no products in the pipline and they're hoping that Bose buys their patent library so they can merge and the whole company can just cash out and retire. There's a dude there who is one of the level 4 tech supports that owns 9% of the company. He's absolutely fucking retarded and autistic to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if he's on /g/.
