I own the EVGA 980ti sc acx 2.0, it DOES have coil whine at high frames (around 120+, gets louder the higher your framerates in a game go), but this was only when I was charging my headset via USB in my PC. The headset is wireless and whenever I use a wallwart to charge or just unplug it for use there is no whine.
