It's a great show, I don't get why some of you guys hate on it, ITS A FUCKING TV SHOW it's not supposed to portray real life to 100% accuracy. Regardless it does a good job of that anyway, way better than any other show on TV today.

I don't really mind all of the errors of the show. They touch on enough to show that they're not clueless(See: Halt and Catch Fire). As a layman who knows a little about this shit it seemed to handle the hacking bits pretty well.
Though the plot was awful, like someone who had to write a plot pitch had just watched V for vendetta back to back with fight club and American Psycho, read about anonymous on a shitty blog site, then passed out drunkenly the night before drunkenly mashing them together and pitching it to the studio head the next day.
I did find it amusing though that his name was "Mr.robot" because I found it funny to think of him as the type of person on /r9k/ "Oh I'm so sad though I'm fucking my hot dealer have a great job and many people that like me and so many good prospects. I can't deal with people although by all accounts I function pretty well ;____;"
