So far I love my nexus 6. May be over a year old but I love it. I'm running marshmallow running pure nexus ROM on my N6. I get at least 6:45-7 hours of battery life on regular use. Max I ever got was 7.5 hours.

Freezing and disabling are the same thing, but when you do it with TiBu or similar tools, it tends to stick.
Removing them completely is best, though

Also have one other app that lets me access outlook web access which has a rectangle minminguard doesn't handle correctly so it gets left
