It doesn't matter, not even in America. Our first amendments rights have been stripped away as it is. If you talk to a local community on Yak and you don't live in a large city, your over-paid small-town suburban police force will get a warrant for your arrest and find an excuse to detain you. This has happened in the past.

Cops in my area have been trying sting operations on Yik Yak. Controversial things get voted down immediately. People will be like, give me an honest opinion and then will report/block you. The thing is a joke.

The problem is Yik Yak giving over personal information whenever cops ask. They don't care about your information enough to protect you. Google leads by example when it comes to protecting your information, and yet it gets flack.

There is some underground shit going on in Yik Yak and the media hasn't been reporting on it fairly if that's the case. If there are cops around the country going after people based on disagreeable comments on Yik Yak, that is very fucking concerning.
