What does /g/ use? Currently using Windows Media Player because PC got wiped

I use clementine
It's not perfect, but it's good enough
>>
>>51653435
I use MPV because I can do
--audio-pitch-correction=no --speed=1.1
and listen to more music per unit time. As a bonus it also compensates for only having moderately sized speakers that struggle with very deep bass. I don't listen to music with singing so there is no drawback.

Server: Music Player Daemon (MPD)

NCurses CLI client: Music Player Client Plus Plus (ncmpcpp)

Muh african american. I tried mpd + ncmpc but it was too much hassle.
>>
Good old Winamp.
>>
>>51653508
This. It works well for my music share, but I'm missing a gstreamer plugin for .APE files.
Also wish it would let me disable some things I don't need.
>>
foobar2k.If you use anything else on Windows you are officially a pleb.

You what?

I sincerely don't understand. Why would do that?
>>
>>51653625
You could try ncmpcpp instead, it has more features than ncmpc. Or if you don't like to drown in features, cmus is more simple and straightforward.
>>
WinAmp

its the smalles music player out there.

takes minimal space on your screen
good playlist overview

easy controls with good colour highlights

I use VLC for everything else
(WinAmp for MP3 and FLAC)

music bee aka the patricians choice of course.
>>
>>51653748
Pants on fire. MPD and ncmpcpp combined are ≈ 20 times more smaller than the full multilingual WinAmp version, ≈ 15 times smaller than the full US version and ≈ 4 times than the lite US version.

1.1 isn't compatible with the 440hz system..

you should only transpose with 2^(n/12) where n is your preferred transposition amount

I use Winamp for my FLAC stuff, and iTunes for everything else.

iTunes for mp3, VOX for occasional flacs, but mainly Spotify because it's so handy and the lyrics are always one click away.

Zune baby!
Still use Zune and like it. I know M$ doesn't support it anymore which sucks.

I actually liked the UI
>>
>>51653875
I've been using it for a very short time, but so far my main concern is scrolling through search results
I have the results set to show the album covers, and the shortest scroll will skip a whole row of album covers, I can't seem to scroll past rows of covers gradually
very annoying imo

I use Zune for my ZuneHD and that's it anymore. I'm getting a Fio X1 soon so I'll probably get rid of Zune as well.
