The only thing that was holding me back was VKontakte, for some reason it wasn't working without Flash. Today I uninstalled it and.. well it's working fine without Flash. Surprisingly. I can not explain why it wasn't working like a week ago. It was really the only use I had for Flash, so I'm glad to get rid of it and its updates maintenance (:

Never used flash, and never will. If I absolutely have to watch a video that requires flash it will in most cases work well with youtube-dl.

No, I can't watch shit on liveleak or even browse some websites from time to time without flash. I have Chromium + pepper-flash specifically for those instances and use Firefox w/o flash on it for everything else.

Just tried it again, now I remember the issue -- for some reason it tries to open the videos as an .mp4 and opens a dialog box asking me what 3rd party program I want to use for it. Got it working now, I was missing H.264 support and had to install the gst-libav and gst-plugins-good packages as well as their dependencies. Liveleak and youtube work like they're supposed to now. I'll keep Chromium + pepperflash for the rare occasion where I come across a website that's non-functional without flashplayer.
So now that Flash is out of the way. Was it actually it what was causing the laggy, slow feel in my Firefox? Godam.
