central device mainframe for a small room. Lamp, lock, anything with a cord that you can wire to the board. You can use it as a small hub between your computer and the internet but I'm not sure that'll make much of a difference, though it really could act as a vpn.
Robot stuff.

There's a lot of things really.

How hard would it be to build a gameboy/NES emulator into something like a mint tin with one of these?
>>
>>51648668
There are existing things like the PiBoy and whatever that I've seen that are actually really well done. The guy who did that is apparently working on one with this model because of the smaller size that is easier to work with in embedded projects.

Retropie did psx wipeouts ok-ish with overclock on my pi 1 model b.
The zero should be best for this with its relatively fast single cpu core.

So would it be possible/feasible say to leave a few of these things hooked up to a battery in the bushes outside somewhere that has free wi-fi and then use it as a proxy?

That would encourage shitposting though

Plug into a large TV, install Gentoo, put a clock in fullscreen, go to the whitehouse, win $15 million.
>>
>>51646977
Not much, considering it lacks all the cool stuff regular Pis have, you only waste money on adapters to get a subpar Pi 2, that's smaller but has a ton of shit dangling from it.

I'd get one with DSI instead of HDMI so you could make plenty cool handheld devices with a screen, which is kinda the whole fucking point of making something small. Or a proper sound output so you can make a MP3 player. Or at least wifi so you can use it as a small server.

But no, instead it's just a more expensive Arduino board, so there's no real reason to get one.
