It was a piece of fucking overpeiced shit. Basically a dual core 65nm Athlon 64 @ 1-2GHz and some shitty gpu with the performance of a laptop 7600G iGPU (384 shaders @ 320 MHz).

It couldn't run jack shit. It was an overpriced htpc at best.

Turns out that if you cram PC components into a tiny fucking cube and use 65nm CPUs with barely enough ventilation you aren't going to get any performance to play vydias made after 2008.

My PC costs 1200, though, it's just that I can also afford to build it myself

We have other supermini itx (whatever that form factor is called) that are pretty much device pictured.

For laptops at least, you can't go wrong with Apples.

>>51639889
you could say it was ahead of its time

who tipped over that mac pro?
>>
>>51639988
lol, it came out in ~2014, 1 year after A8-4555M APU based laptops were being sold for less than 1K. It was overpriced and had shit components, that was it. They could have used more expensive components like an A10-4600m APU but their Judaism wouldn't let them.

They were actually using 65nm components like tripfag said. On top of this they kept obscuring the specifications in order to justify the 1K price tag.

lol yup. They still have the balls to sell it for 2K+ on amazon. At least they now specify they are blatantly ripping you off by stating they use a 64GB SSD and a laptop grade APU.

This version is the "upgraded" version too. It features the A10-4600m APU (which costs like $50). All this while most likely using slow 1333 or maybe 1600mhz ddr3 ram for the crippled iGPU in this box form factor housefire.
