It does not just werk. I use it too and it fails on simple tasks like docking and multiple monitor support. Needs constant tweaking. Very productivity oriented though once you have it set up.

only things to do before anything else are install synaptic and gdebi so you never have to touch the Ubuntu Software Center, which is really fucking heavy and slow and crap (particularly on the shitbox I threw Xubuntu onto, it takes several minutes to get going)
