Reminder that all T-Mobile simple choice postpaid customers as of November 23 now have unlimited high speed data for December, January, and February.

When are they going to improve their coverage?

Reminder that I get 5gb of unlimited 4GLTE a month for 30 dollars that barely any audio or video streaming service affects because data consumption from those apps don't count

Reminder that you can make free phone calls through Google hangouts over data and WiFi now, so any minute limitation they have is completely over ridden.

I've been using this plan for 3 years now and it truly is the GOAT prepaid plan and I see no reason to switch to anything else.
>>
>>51638982
Works fine for me

It works fine for me. Also, muh speed has increased in the last couple of days. Went from 2/1 to 15/4.

>>51638491
what the hell is this plan i keep hearing about? i can't find it on their website
>>
>>51641441
From what I gathered from reading here is that you need to get the T-Mobile sim card from Walmart then you make an account and choose the plan.

currently deciding between AT&T and Tmobile...I live in the midwest and currently have sprint so either is probably an upgrade..
I just got my Nexus 5X in the mail and am going to go set up service tomrorow probably.
AT&T has apparently(according to the map, and friends etc) better coverage. However, on the 5X AT&T does not get VoLTE/HDVoice, Visual voicemail in the stock dialer, or Wi-fi calling. Tmobile has all of these things. Trying to decide between them

Reminder that T-Mobile is violating net neutrality to give you "free" streaming, and is picking winners and losers by doing this.
>>
>>51642959
and your point is?
The free streaming, at the music services, have user choice involved.
>>
this is like a dealer giving you a free sample.

Hope you guys can live with the consequences.

>>
>>51642959
This is not a violation of net neutrality. No one particular service is receiving preference or special treatment over other services. T-Mobile does not slow down your usage of one streamer and speed up the use of another; this would be a violation of net neutrality.
>>
>>51643279
Yup! Rocking an old 3G phone with a custom ROM and the speeds I'm getting beat my home net anyway sadly

>>
>>51642959
No, they just compresses your video quality, if you have "binge on" active. It's completey optional, and having it on does not affect network traffic at all.
>>
>>51643306
>No one particular service is receiving preference or special treatment over other services.
The services on T-Mobile's white list are receiving special treatment, the data is not being counted towards the user's cap. Services not on this list are at a competitive disadvantage. The ISP is picking winners and losers, exactly what net neutrality was meant to prevent. Companies tried doing this in Canada and the CRTC forced them to stop.

>>51643148
Yes. Who cares about the internet. Lets allow companies to do whatever they want and incentivise the use of web services they decide to give an unfair advantage to. Fuck the free and fair internet, give me free data!

Gulf State user.

Only time I'm without signal is random parts of the interstate in the middle of no where, or backwoods towns in the middle of no where. Neither of which are places I really stick around for long, and I still have e911 or roaming options in either.

Additionally, we're getting re-farmed 1900mhz service around here now, and Wi-Fi calling takes care of any other coverage issues I've had with them since I've gotten on-board with them.

>>51642959

To be entirely fair, every ISP and cellular group violates, or supports the violation, of Net Neutrality. It's how they make money. T-Mobile just gives you the freedom of an actually uncapped 4G LTE plan available in america, on a system that isn't as anti-consumer as Sprint's CDMAids network.

>>51641441

Go to walmart. Get T-Mobile prepaid SIM Card. Chose plan when registering.
>>
>>51638910
yet my phone burns through it's battery trying to get a signal all day
>>
Sure wish they'd stop counting my YouTube Red data. That 5gb LTE cap on the $30 plan busts my balls a bit, had to turn off HD streaming except on WiFi.
>>
>>51636694
move to a city you fucking hick
in cities tmobile gets amazing coverage (usually better than the other carriers)
>>
>>51645101
does your plan not qualify for the unlimited LTE for the next 3 months?

Holy fuck, you dumb child. Prime reason we root is to purge this horrid app
