What is there to know about monitor overclocking?
I did it for a few months with a shit gaming laptop I had to use until I got my regular computer sorted out, from 60 to 120 Hz without any major issues. It was glitchy with YouTube videos.
I'd say don't do it unless you're capable and willing to do an LCD swap because you're more likely to fuck something up.

Also, it's dumb as fuck because almost all "OC'able" monitors will just drop frames, it distorts the color, and significantly shortens the lifespan of the panel.

Had a decent quality 60hz 1080p monitor.
Tried overclocking it to be constant 75hz and it was utter shit, stuttering everywhere.
Becides it makes no sense due to 144hz monitors being so cheap todays.
What makes a monitor be able to go to 144hz vs 60hz?
