Hey /g/, I'm looking to buy a new wallet that doesn't look like an NES controller because I'm a grown man.
I make most of my payments via card and I want to know if getting an RFID blocking wallet is justifiable or just paranoia.
Also any suggestions for a cheap wallet? I'd like some cash left over to put into it.

I have that wallet you posted. While I don't think there will ever be an instance where the RFID scanning protection is necessary, I do like the way there are two bill fold pockets up top.
It's kind of like a magic trick. Keep small bills in one and big in the other, and when you open it, you have a choice to either seem like a rich motherfucker or a poor motherfucker. Perfect for muggings, or philanthropic work.

Whatever I uploaded would be great if you only have a few cards with scan technology. I have a RFID sleeve but it will not fit in the card slot inside the wallet. I put my sleeve and card in the cash part of the wallet.
RFID protection is a fucking gimmick. The convenience of using touch payments without removing my card from my wallet outweighs any paranoia or tinfoil.
I didn't even think about RFID protection when I got my new wallet but I'm glad I'm free of it.
Might be different if your country keeps pers data (SSN etc?) on a driver's licence or something but until then I don't think there's an imminent threat.
