daily reminder that 3.5mm jacks are the reason phones are so thick
>>
Agreed. Hopefully newer Bluetooth technology can narrow the gap with sound quality and wired headphones just go away.
>>
You donĀ“t want to tell me that this is thick.
>>
Rumour is next iPhone will have only lightning port
>>
I can't wait until my phone is as thin as a credit card and snaps in half in my pocket like one.

Thats not a bad idea, I hope it pushes android to have 2 usb-c ports so you can use a usb-c headphone plugged in while charging.
>>

Why is the 3.5mm jack on that phone on the other side, I don't have an iPhone so I'm not 100% sure, but shouldn't it be on the left?
>>
>>51612494
do we really need 2 of these
>>
>>51614068

Thats not an iPhone lol
>>
>>51612494
This isn't thick and we don't need phones getting any thinner. If you look at history of cellphones in general you will see that once phones got really small people realized that it doesn't fucking matter and started making bigger phones again. There are more important things to focus on than turning your phone into a knife.

Credit cards snap in your pocket?

He's a retard.
>>
Why the fuck won't this fag let this shit go already.
>>
>>51616977
Phones bend as much as credit cards? Fucking idiot.
>>
>>51612494

I use a galaxy S5 and without the case it is pretty damn thin. Honestly that is about as thing as I'd want to go. I have a slim armor case and it beefs it up slightly, but enough to where it feels good in my hands and pocket.

>3.5mm jacks are the reason phones are so thick
Then what is this? 4.75 mm thick and it STILL has a headphone jack. Get fucked.
>>
>>51612494
why not just switch to the 2.5mm standard then?
>>

> 3.5mm jacks are the reason phones are so thick

No, they arent. It's the size of the battery what makes current phones so thick.
>>
>>51617173
Why do phones need big batteries anyway?

>wanting a phone so thin that it will bend in your pocket
>not wanting a PORTABLE phone to be durable enough to easily survive transportation.

Daily reminder this stupid fad is the reason phones have 4 hours SOT on average.
