It's not a terrible idea at all, I've got an aoc one with the same spec, the 1ms is probably not true, I'm pretty sure it has some gimmicky overdrive feature or something to get that 1ms. Overdrive is shitty and causes inverse ghosting

It is a solid monitor for gaming, I prefer IPS for photo stuff and better colours overall, but TN has better response times for games like cs go

TN monitor if you care about colours and viewing angle (I personally have a TN 144hz since I don't mind too much)
And yeah it being 60hz but if you've never touched a 120/144hz monitor it probably won't annoy you
