i am a apple fan and let me tell you, being an apple user is actually a great thing. we have beautiful products and we have ugly products. just like any company. tim cook for 1 is a great person, makes great products, and takes care of every one that is in his customer base and is glad to do it, and for that he has people that love him around him. also, apple products are one of the best profucts you can have. sometimes they can be really restricted, but they will take care of you no matter what, and the genius bar will help you buy what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head. Also, we all have great jobs, lots of money and an online community that we all love and helps us eat shit out of our hands.

I doubt my next computer will be running OS X, for one. OS X has been getting progressively more awful for years, but make one release that's slightly better optimized and people think it's jesus (even though I've have a severe bug with El Capitan that Apple confirmed 5 months ago and has not fixed as of most recent build).
I also don't want a new iphone. the iphone 6's design is really ugly and it has gigantic bezels.

I keep saying this but if MS gave a shit about latency on Windows (ASIO is shit) and made their own audio stack, maybe give a shit about putting together some decent trackpad drivers, I'd happily move to Windows.
Other than that, Ableton/NI/U-he/FabFilter, etc. all don't work on Linux.

I like a UNIX environment that doesn't randomly crash if I drag a picture from a website to my desktop.
I like a UNIX environment that can run Photoshop smoothly when editing anything larger than a shitty meme.
USB ports on a laptop take up space. USB C is standard. You can buy adapters anywhere, not just Apple's overpriced one.
People don't use optical drives anymore, yet everyone made fun of Apple when they quit installing them... Apple eliminates ports to achieve a very slim design and you're still buying laptops with things like VGA.

I'm tired fighting with Linux desktops, they are horribly designed, buggy and instable. Linux just works for everything but desktops. I've been waiting for the year of the Linux desktop since 2006, but it's never going to happen so I abandoned that ship.
As for Windows, why on earth would I dual boot with it? There's literally no reason for me to use it.
