I will have a Linux based system with windows 10.1 in a VM which will have full control of the graphics card, and locked down by a thousands firewalls.
Game when I want, have absolutey everything like Firefox and mumble on Linux, windows will have just steam.

Same plan here. Haven't quite worked out a parts yet as I'm waiting on Zen, but generally thinking I'll be looking for a Thunderbolt controller on the motherboard or as an expansion card. Whether or not AMD lines up for that at that time is less than likely right now, but I'm holding out hope for a nice surprise.

Do you really see no problem in switching OS when you need to do different tasks?
My 7 right now is usable 10-15 minutes after launch, with heavy disk usage by "perfmon" and such processes, despite low memory/cpu usage. I cant imagine switching to linux just because I would need to do work instead of playing games.

If you're currently having that long of a boot time, you need to be optimising something. Low hanging fruit is startup programs and scheduled tasks.
