Ive been reading a lot of seminal scifi and have gotten into cyber 80s era. reading about those ideas and seeing modern analogues are fun, but in particular i have a question about derms aka drugs delivered via patch.
i know there is nicotine derms, and scar healing derms, but are there more potent ones too? tranqs or psycoactivs?

It's changed my life. I've been on every anti-depressant you can think of. At one point, I spent a few days at a psychiatric hospital. After I checked out, I agreed to return on an out-patient basis to receive ECT. I did that for about a year.

The ECT helped, but it didn't seem to last long term. I finally met a doctor who suggested we try medications again, but that I would use this patch instead of pills. I'm not of the science behind it, but the patch allows for a more continuous delivery and bypasses the liver. I've been free of suicidal thoughts for over a year now without needing to continue ECT treatments. I went from NEET to having a full time software engineering job and I moved out of my parents house into my own apartment.

yeah 'cause that shit could really fuck up their hormones. I'm currently on testosterone injections but when looking into alternatives, a topical cream was suggested. Problem with that is you can't allow it to get on anyone else (even residue).
