I want to get this for my little brother. He's going to play Minecraft and shit on it. Will it be fast enough? My parents want to get him a Samsung tablet but I'd rather get him a nexus
Yeah get it, its got the nvidia tegra k1 in it so it's plenty fast, and the screen is nice and big, screen quality is meh, some spots where light bleeds on mine
Still runs like a charm tho

Android is a Phone OS, all apps are made for phones. If you use Android apps on this tablet they're all stretched, super ugly.
Sorry to say but iPad are the only worthwhile tablets atm. Buy an Android for phone

Speaking as a person who has and loves an iPad Air 2, $200 is a pretty hard price to beat. Plus, it's a Nexus, which counts for a lot. In the case of phones, I usually say to never buy anything that isn't an iPhone or a Nexus. The same, I think, applies to tablets: don't buy it if it isn't either an iPad or a Nexus of some kind. No Samdung, no ANUS, nothing else.

I have mine and it's very good, the screen is perfect for movies. I do recommend you install Jide Remix OS from XDA to have multi window option. Battery life is like a week.

Nexus 9 sold out, started to look at the Shield too. Unsure if worth it, if the Nexus 10 gets cheap enough on amazon I might scoop that up.
