pls help, GTX 970 kernel drivers is constantly crashing (causes my comp to freeze for 3 secs), and I keep seeing red blocked pixels on my screen. It's not overheating, and I'm on the latest drivers.

Also I checked online and did anything I could find, such as using previous drivers, enabling max perf, and configuring physx.

Wtf do I do. :S

lmao i have this same problem
nvidia shills will say you fucked something up and not give you an actual solution

I like to play video games, and Linux isn't as compatible with such. I have Linux already installed (Ubuntu), but I don't use it for gaming.

Windows 7

You need the latest drivers bud. Go to nvida's website and grab'em. That driver is like a year or two out of date.

Pic isn't related, I have the latest drivers.

Agreed. You're getting severe artifacting from a bad chip.
>>
>>51563704
Well fuck I thought that was the most stable.

I've tried 352.86 already, and it didn't change anything. Although I'm testing to see if threaded optimization being off will change anything.

Also they recommended that windows should be updated, which I haven't done in awhile.

>>51563881
I suppose I'll have to figure out as to whether or not I have warranty. I think with EVGA it's 1 year.
>>
You are retarded, unplug the graphic card and plug again, also clean your computer fag
>>
>>51563337
Make sure your PSU is good enough to support the GTX 970
>>
>>51564171
I just replugged it, and it's still happening.

>>51564202
It's been fine for awhile now (8 months), so I don't think it would be the PSU.

>Believed the AMD has no drivers meme

Too bad return it/RMA
>>
>>51564020
Why even get evga? My strix 970 still has 2 and a half years of warranty, meaning when I sell it I will probably be able to get some mofo to but it for 300 because it still has more than a year of warranty.
>>
>>51563337
>he fell for the nvidia has the best drivers meme
>>
>>51564605
Didn't know other manufacturers provide more warranty, was the default 3 years or did you pay for extended?

>>51564584
>>51564630
I knew that Nvidia shilled gaming companies to optimize their hardware, so that's why I went with them.
>>
>>51564584
This same shit literally happened to me this week with my AMD card.
>>
>>51563337
I keep getting this when using firefox

I dont get it.
>>
>>51564784
I bough it from a reliable local huge tech shop, they add to the warranty of most products hemselves, which is one of the reasons why I buy there.
