Yea, I used a raspberry pi for a couple of weeks before buying a Banana Pi. The latter has gigabit ethernet and a sata port. The speeds are incomparable, over LAN files take no time to transfer and most of the time the peer is the bottleneck rather than the banana pi. The only downside is that Raspberry Pi's computing power is greater, making it better at handling big amounts of torrents.
