are you trying to boot a linux distro on a usb formated as NTFS?

I agree though , fixing linux is a pain in the ass. I'd say for an average user a windows installation is way less volatile.

Windows does get slower over time and usually takes more time to setup after a fresh install , but still, when linux breaks you better be prepared to reinstall or copy paste esotheric 300 character commands that you found on ubuntuforums.

Fixing shit on windows is easy just checking the event viewer, it just werks.

And dude , you can check a detailed log of what happened in windows, it's called event viewer.

My xubuntu takes 1 min to reboot or bootup for no reason since 2 weeks ago , i didn't even bother googling because i know it'll make me waste a whole day, i'd rather wait a min.
