Well, they take all the security fixes from Bugzilla. Once XUL is dead and Servo is there, Pale Moon can not fix bugs anymore. And stuff like HTML5 and ES6/ES7 Javascript features can not be simply backported anymore. At least not the complex stuff.
Pale Moon is a dead end - It may still be usable, but that changes in the next 1-2 years.
