>Backlight bleed and glow STILL hasn't been completely fixed for ANY IPS panels at all
Was it just a meme technology all alone?
>>51518491
>fixed
It's inherent to the technology.

Bleed can be avoided if you buy a high-end display, while glow is indeed inherent to the technology.
There were some IPS displays made a while ago that used a special filter to remove IPS glow, but the trade-off was in skewed colors, which wasn't considered worth pursuing.

>Amoled displays
>"much amazing display, best on the market" (reviewers)
>Amoled displays getting burn in after a while
>no reviewer says anything about that
>sheeple keep buying and buying and buying

>I got this item free for review
does the view still count if I stop watching from then?
is backlight bleed guaranteed in a €150 ips?
I can settle for a less colorful TN if it means no bleed

TN still has bleed, but on high end ones it's less bad than IPS.
The only way to completely avoid backlight bleed is not to have a backlight, so OLED, Plasma, CRT etc.

ah fuck it I'll get an IPS and play the lottery
what brands are known to have a lot of bleed issues? first I was going to get an Asus but I've read they very often have massive bleed and RMAing with Asus is a pain in the ass, so now I'm thinking LG

Get a monitor with an MVA/VA panel.
My Dell U2414H doesn't have baclight bleed at all, but it has uneven backlight/brightness and it triggers my autism hard.
Whenever I'm looking at a solid color, I notice how the middle of the screen is noticeably brighter than the rest of the screen. Getting a perfect display on a monitor that costs less than $1000 is impossible. Fucking subhuman chinks who make them are cunts.

No, but it's very common.
