>Clevo Trackpad

>Comfort : it's not that cool but you soon get used to it, 6/10

>Design : it's the most beautiful trackpad you've ever seen. You feel the sensibility of the Nepalese artist who designed it and the controversial power that evoques Ai Weiwei. It's brutal, thought-provoking although the first time I watched it I cried and questionned the sense of the universe and the deep link that ties our flesh. Groundbreaking. 10/10

If it wasn't for the faggot that decided to shape it like a butt plug and make it more of a normal shape I'd give it a 8/10. Mouse does have an amazing sensor though.

Really wish they must remade the G9x with the g303 sensor.

Mionix Naos 7000

Design 10/10 :
Perfect sensor, great quality and good looks. Quality coating all over and the perfect pinkie rest that I found missing on my other palm mice. (I was always dragging my pinkie around the mouse mat)

Comfort 10/10 :
Most comfortable right handed palm I have ever used, brilliant coating.

Price/Paid :
AU$45, unwanted prize from a guy on ebay.
It's US$50 on Amazon.

Verdict 10/10 :
I can't believe how cheap and shitty a g400 felt after switching to this mouse. A truly great experience equal to that of my first mechanical keyboard. It's built really well too, still looks and feels brand new nearly two years later. Braided cable, RGB with OFF option for the anti-rice brigade and a really long lasting matte finish. Windows software works well.

OP forgot;
Cons: Really not much to say here, (I will try to be really picky) the scroll wheel while still as reliable and effective as the rest of the mouse does make a hollow noise compared to the rest of the mouse making it feel like a cheaper mouse in a way. Side scroll would be cool, but I don't see many good mice with that feature. Weight, while perfect for me, is not adjustable in any way. Linux users will not be able to run the customization software which could be a negative, however the mouse has it's own CPU and memory so in theory it could be set up as needed on another machine/dual boot/VM and saved to the mouse.

tl;dr: 7000 series Mionix worth every fucking cent.
>>
>>51507435
Well idk guess you're just lucky.

When I'm playing games the mouse will slip out my fingers constantly and its just retarded to hold. After an hour or so of using it while playing games hand will start to hurt.

If I'm just using it to browse shit it's fine, but for games it's horrible and literally a pain to use.

6/10 on design, the area where the base of my hand rests is a bit wobbly

>>
>>51509322
you're telling me i'm only "logically" using my finger to move the cursor around the screen with equivalent movements?

a trackpad is just another kind of mouse, a computer mouse doesn't need to actually resemble a mouse to be a computer mouse

>>51509355

>>
>>51509393
Logical as in the computer sees it as a mouse input device, but it's technically not a mouse.
>>
>>51509420
but can you explain how exactly a trackpad is "not a mouse"?

>a computer mouse doesn't need to actually resemble a mouse to be a computer mouse

A logical mouse doesn't need to be a physical mouse, and a physical trackpad, while serving as a logical mouse, isn't a physical mouse.

What was meant by "physical" and "logical" should be obvious to a true /g/ent, but with all the /v/ and reddit around here these days, oh well.
>>
>>51509445
Similarly how an LCD monitor is not a CRT monitor. Both serve as a logical display device, but they are physically fundamentally different.
>>
>>51509516
but they're both monitors

just like these are both mice
>>
>>51509456
A colleague of mine once got all excited over a desktop case with a somewhat similar design as the mouse you showed (it was called "Bulldozer something" iirc). Guess what, while looking all edgy and whatnot, it turned out to be shit in practice.

I respect your fundamentals right, and especially the one of having arguments over whether a trackpad is or isn't a mouse.

I was just kidding because at the moment I started writing there was nothing else in the thread and I thought this could be funny without harming anyone.

I personally think that with the picture the fact it was a physical mouse was implied. I still posted for the reasons mentioned above.

Agreed, I wouldn't purchase a case that looked like a transformer (related is my case) but I do lots of map making and I play tons of civ and Aoe so I wanted a mouse with a bunch of buttons that were placed in different areas, I saw it on sale and bought it.

Regret it overall.
