Alright /g/ I started learning about computers last week and I've built myself a computer to buy. Currently using my grandmother's old iMac from 2008 (3.02 Ghz dual core, 2gb ram, 512mb vram)
Tell me how I fucked up.
>Intel
Whoa that was easy
looks like a nice rig, I'd drop the Windows license though. You can either not use Windows (preferable) or get a legit key by pirating an old version and upgrading for free

What version would I need to pirate?

My roommate's dad appears on this page

I'm getting a discount on my CPU.
>water cooler
>970
>buying an os
you sure didnt learn much
switch out the water cooler for an air cooler, youll get pretty much the same results for cheaper
r9 390 will be way better and future proof than the 970
learn to pirate nigger

what purpose?
If its gaming, i suggest using a much cheaper cooler (Hyper 212 evo) and getting a much better gpu (Fury or gtx 980).
Also I would personally recommend mini-itx for portability

Does AMD offer a 3D option? I went with Nvidia and the Acer monitor so I could eventually spend $150 bucks on 3D glasses for my computer.

AMD supports 3d

Yeah mostly gaming, I also do some animation/illustration/photography but I've honestly never had trouble with doing those on my current computer.
