What does 1920 x 1080 look like on a 2560 x 1440 monitor?
Does it look ugly and stretched??
Not really stretched. A little blurry.

>>51486806

>>51486812

please i wanna see if it looks stupid

Is this for gaming?
>>51486827
yes
i play some old games and i want to play them at 1920 x 1080 on a 2560 x 1440 monitor.
>>51486840
I play most games at 1440p on my 28" 2160p screen, don't really see a difference. 1080p looks horribly aliased though.
>>51486882
thanks i can now justify myself purchasing a 1440p IPS 144hz
>>51486840
Try playing a game at 720p on your current 1080 monitor
>>51486840
play them windowed in 1080p
>>51486947
this, or you can play them fullscreen in 720p, that way everything will be upscaled correctly.
>>51486840
any particular reason for this?
It will look fine, just not super sharp.
>>51486806
>>51486840
Depending on the game it may be able to render itself at 2560x1440.
>>51486905
Which monitor are you buying?
>>51489043
How much does your 980 SLI rig handle FO4
>Running 1440p as well
Asking because I normally run into the 5GB+ VRAM range on my 390x's (Dual) and I was wondering if the 4GB on the 980 is holding it back at all at 1440p.

Minus motion blur, I hate motion blur personally.
>>51486535
what kinda screenshot you want senpai
I know this thread isn't for this, but it's close enough to what I'm looking for without starting a new one.
Can anybody tell me if this monitor is at least decent? Recently I've been looking for a new 144hz 27" 1080p monitor. Will this one do those things at least well enough? I'm not too concerned about color, which I'm expecting to suffer, but color correction will fix it as far as I'm concerned. I have no experience with benq so I'm not sure what to expect. I doubt build quality will be phenomenal too, but it just sits in a desk so that's fine with me. I've heard good things about them and it's so cheap so I'm lost.

from what i've gathered their cheap stuff usually isn't recommended, at that price point it's better just to get an ips
>>51490957
get a monoprice
Just a reminder that if you're purchasing a new monitor > 60 Hz (i.e. for gaming, not just productivity/webbing), and you're not buying FreeSync/G-Sync, then you're a fool.
