As stated in the title this is my first build! After a bunch of browsing I've come to choosing this build. All I need now is some help on picking a good motherboard for around $100 and opinions on whether a 25" 1440p monitor is a good buy (I love the design and thin bezels)? Would I be better off saving money and buying a cheaper 1080p monitor that's a similar size? I also need a way to connect to WiFi reliably with a strong connection. I'm using it for gaming, music production, and schoolwork.

Also want suggestions on a nice sleek desk with ample room to do schoolwork for under ~$150 would be awesome. Cheap keyboard and mouses that somewhat match the color scheme (black/silver) would also be appreciated!

>Seagate Harddrive

Switch to a WD 2tb if you don't want a failed HDD in a few months.

>Buying a Windows Oem Disc.

Just go to r/microsofsoftwareswap and buy a cheap Windows 7/8.1/10 Key, then download a pirated version and install it via a flashdrive/disc. Save you the extra $70 for something else.

I'd strongly recommend another model of 390 over that one. Gigabyte did a real half-assed job with their cooler. It's apparently noisy as FUCK. No idea why they went for a dual fan design over their usual tri-fan solution, but there's a reason why they didn't send out any review samples.

MSI and Sapphire's are generally considered the top models. XFX's isn't bad either.

Definetly. Generally considered the best 390 variant.

Thanks for the advice man

Get the R5, its a better case in everyway.

Build looks very nice anon. I agree with going with msi instead of gigabyte for the 390.

Gigabyte makes pretty good motherboards though in my opinion. Never had any trouble with them and the few times I did mail support they were fast and helpful.
