Alright /g/, what's the verdict on pic related?
I'm in desperate need for a sound card for my gayming since my on board sound sounds like absolute bumhole. It's all really fucking flat with no bass, almost like there's an invisible dildo stuck in my ear whenever I use my headphones.
Pic related is about 23 quid, very cheap, but I don't know if that means it's shite when it comes to soundcards.

That's what you should be heading for. A soundcard should not modify the original audio source, unless instructed to, with an equalizer for example.

I've bought a Xonar DX in February for like ~80$. I use it with my 7 years old 5.1 setup. It reaaally made a difference. I don't really use it with headphones, but I think it's worth to go for it. In 5.1, I hear sounds, that I didn't even know that exist.
