Basically messes with WU itself, so it's safer to assume that it'll allow for background downloading of W10.
Is there any way to disable these updates before I download any? I have windows dualboot and need it sometimes for school and stuff.

Except every major update to Windows 10 from this point onwards will be an in-place upgrade install, rendering any "clean" install you did pointless.

You can always use the Media Creation Tool to get installation media of the latest release.
Resetting Windows 10 after installing a new release will clean reinstall that release.

The only update that'll allow for background W10 download and sets the foundation for that is the June 2014 Windows Update Client Update and all Clients after that.
