I have a HDD in the laptop too, the downloads go there.
The SSD was only an OS and work drive, like I installed a few VMs there, but nothing IO extensive.
Besides that, I only had one Windows reinstall since I bought it.

Ps.: I use the 2xSSD in RAID0, so the writes are halved. Just copied 8gigs to the SSD array and the posted drive received 4gigs of data (obviously).
The RAID is Intel RST based, so TRIM _is_ issued.

I think it's more important to have faster writes for temp instead of having boot time split in half, which I'm going to notice once a day at best. Same for programs, I rarely clse the once I use.
