So, another one bites the dust.

What file manager do we use now?

Glad I ditched this a few weeks ago.

I currently use "Amaze", but people always tell me it's bad because apparently it'll delete files if you attempt to move them to locations you can't write to. Haven't used it enough to test this.
>>
>>51459515
So it's Windows file explorer? I'll pass.
>>
>>51459528

explorer doesnt do that.

stfu and go be a furry somewhere else.
>>
Explorer by Speed Software. No ads.
>>
>>51459528
Yeah, explorer doesn't do this. Anyway, if there's a better, preferably open-source file browser available, I'll download that instead.
>>
i need es file explorer to use smb. i tried others but they didn't seem to work. is there a good alternative that can do that? i need to access my nas to fap
>>
>>51459473
tried solid explorer it's not bad except they want you to pay for it.
android needs a built in file manager which supports cloud services and SMB shares.
>>
It was a botnet from the start.
Just use Amaze, its open src
>>
Total Commander is pretty neat. No bloat and it has plugins for connecting to remote services.
>>
OI or default cyanogenmod file manager
>>
>>51459515
Same. I use it anyway though because it has the best design of any file manager.
>>
>>51459473
MiXplorer

Free and I'm not missing any functionality. It's not pretty and slightly awkward to use, but it works.

How about you actually pay the $1 to get the app and support the developer that probably needs to pay multiple people you fucking neet. God I'll never understand why you guys are so fucking cheap.
>>
Solid Explorer = GOAT

>b..but it costs money!

What are you, poor? You must be 18 or older to post here, and if you are over 18 you should have 5 bucks to spare.
>>
>>51459606
Oh god. I use the desktop program because of its functionality, but I can't believe the dev actually managed to bring his fucked up sense of style and design to Android. Total Commander has fucking ugly icons, and now you can enjoy similarly disgusting icons on Android as well!
>>
>>51459473

lol windows
>>
>>51459473
I use File Commander.
>>
>>51459659
i may end up paying for it but something like solid needs to be built in to android as documents is a bit shite.

Just tested this theory, moved a file from one directory to another that I did not have write permissions on. It acted like it was copying, and reloaded the folder, but my file was not there, and the original file I tried moving was still in the original directory. Either it's been fixed, or the people who bring this up are liars.
>>
Try cabinet for Cyanogenmod , it's fluid and flat design
>>
>>51459692
A Windows license does not cost "hundreds" and the file explorer is quite usable; OP is wrong and you've clearly barely touched Windows since you don't realize it.

That being said... Install Gentoo
>>
>>51459657
ES File Explorer has neither a paid version nor in-app purchasing, AFAICT.
>>
I like the one made by Asus (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.asus.filemanager).
The smb implementation does have some bugs at the moment.
>>
>>51460027
That actually looks really good, and it has network storage. I'll probably look into this one, nice find!
