dear /g/, I want to buy a new gamepad for mainly PC gaming and for some android games as well. I'm thinking either a MOGA or an xbox controller. If there is another brand of gamepad that competes with the best then please tell me. I've used an xbox original controller for the past 5 years and its not easy to find decent drivers for windows.

Just get an xbox 360 or xbone controller. They both work great with pc and are easy to set up.

How close are you to your pc

If you root your phone a PS4 controller works perfectly on Android. Works great on PC too with DS4windoss

Welp. Try a moga controller then the one in the OP is great

I'd go with a Xbox One controllers
I have the wireless adapter and it's cool
Get a 360 wired controller. Don't bother with anything else unless it uses the 360 drivers natively.

I got a PS4 controller to use with PC, android, and occasionally my friends PS4.
It works well.
i was gonna get a 360 controller (<$30 new) or an xbone (~$50) for that native support but when i found ds4windows, that simply interprets the ps4 controller as an xbox, with plenty of customization like using the touchpad as a mouse for example. it's a touch over $50 and probably what i'm getting
i've used a steam controller, and while i'll be first in line to shill valve at any chance, it's shit for real games. super fun typing with one though.

i did consider getting a DS4 instead of an xbox one controller but just couldn't get on with the thumb stick placement, and the xbox one controller seems like a nice replacement over my 10 year old 360 controller.
Wired Xbox360 controller, and a USB OTG cable to use it on your phone
How about one of these? it has bluetooth to work with iDevices, android and Windows. It can work as a generic gamepad, a keyboard and an Xinput gamepad.
I haven't tried one yet so, I cannot vouch for the quality.

Xbox 360 is pretty much your only option, it's immediately compatible with everything and a great controller.
You should probably get an afterglow model, they are somewhat cheaper than a normal 360 controller and feel better to use overall, although almost nothing is changed. The bumpers are a little easier to access, it's a little more solid in the hand, etc. Most people are surprised by how much they like these considering they seem like a cheap gimmick controller.

And you can just turn off the stupid lights.
