Why is micro USB such shit? Every single micro USB cable I've owned has stopped charging properly or just falls out of the port on my phone. I bought an xbox one controller for my pc, and I can't even use it after barely a month of use, cause the fucking micro USB connector cuts out constantly if it isn't held at just the right angle, making the controller disconnect. Is there a single decent micro USB cable on the market?

you're not, I have the exact same problem with most of mine. it charges only if I fiddle with it for ages and even then it'll randomly stop. granted, it's the ones that come with my phones, which are probably utter shit anyway.
Never had a cable fail but plenty of ports fall apart. Supposed to be rated for 10,000 plug-in/out cycles. micro USB is a shit standard. I actually think it's worth buying shit cables so that they fuck up before fucking up the port.
