This. Win10's spying just werks. Win10's feature to uninstall your programs for no reason just werks. Win10's feature to crash during updates when an sd card is inserted just werks. The spying that can't be removed most definitely just werks. The buggy, slow, dysfunctional default programs are its best feature.

This can't be true. What kind of ads?

Yea i tried it out, first update corrupted the start menu database with no backups.

Boot time is way slower than win7 and much more than 8.1.
Also absolutely no improvement over Windows 7 or 8 so what's the point?

They're not ads. Tiles are widgets that provide real-time content. And the Start menu optionally provides suggestions for apps on the Store (OPTIONALLY).

OSX is garbage, and why would you install a distribution like Ubuntu Malware? It's easy to monitor exactly what's on your Linux installation if you install from the ground up. Not hard to do unless you're a tech-illiterate.
>>
Is it truely just telemetry? Is the verdict in on this? I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but mass collection of data is not a conspiracy anymore.

Even if it is excessive telemetry, doesn't this effect your multihomo gayming?

Idk what these guys are on about, I've had 10 for 3 weeks now after 5 years on Linux and its faster than 7 and 8.1 by far.

It looks really decent too, hibernates, sleeps shutdowns and restores in less than 30 secs. Maybe these are Linux or osx shills that work for some shilling company but, win 10 is actually ... Based

I never thought I'd be saying this a month ago when everyone on /g/ was circle jerking the botnet/ad/spyware meme, but to this day I've never seen an ad in my start menu

Very in-depth information on every single thing telemetry sends, and every UI and policy that effects telemetry setting. The security level (which is level 0 and only available to enterprise users) still sends security related information as defender does.

If you see what the defaults are it is still a fuckton of data that can easily be traced to you even if it is anonymized via modern analytics.
