Maybe like another 8gb of ram, but meh don't even really care to have 16gb

MAYBE another SSD, if I find an amazing deal on one. Dunno what else I'd need.

Perhaps a legit monitor, but I have to do some research. TN panel is shit, which is what I have

4Gb DDR3 2400, 128Gb SSD, 2 thin bezel IPS monitors and some mid range graphics card.

...and a 944

Kohls is selling 32 inch LCD TVs that I think will make a pretty neat monitor for my rig. $99.99.
>>
Anyone know where to get some good deals on a new SSD on black friday?

Preferably online, considering there aren't really any tech stores near.
>>
>>51432409
Sorry anon... But don't do that pls

That's legit. But is it online or do you have to fight off all of the cunt soccer mom's?

Theyre Westinghouse brand, which I'm sure isnt great, but Kohls has a good return policy. If it breaks a year from now I can take it back.

Please esplain. If you're talking about refresh rates I'm not terribly worried about it.
>>
>>51432412
There's already cheap ass 120gb SSD for 40 bucks nowadays. I tried a silicon power one in an old pc and it was well worth it. Check newegg. Newegg is the only online tech store that I like, the others have UIs that I just can't get used to. Also, they deceive with they're prices etc etc. You can always check amazon as well.
>>
>>51432435
>>51432448

Its not about the pricing,
TV != monitor
if you are really interested in it, get a $10 one at goodwill and find out why
>>
>>51432460

I'm sure you have your reasons , but I've been using a 26 inch LCD TV as my monitor for years with no issue.
>>
>>51432483

I mean, it's your life. Those TV's are garbage, but do what you want, if you really enjoy swiveling your neck that much then you'll be in for a treat

If they're Westinghouse(which are shit), they're probably 720p and if they're 1080p, the picture will look like crap. Just get yourself a nice ips panel monitor. If you don't care about the actual colors and picture, than go for it I guess. I just don't recommend it, tried it with my old Sony and a dynex. Compared to this acer 21.5 inch ips panel I'm using, the Sony TV has a washed out picture. The blacks are especially horrid to look at. The dynex on the other hand even though it was made many years later had a fuzzy ugly looking picture compared to the Sony. It's colors were even worse.
Tvs just don't make good monitors but if you don't mind the lesser picture, ignore me. For now when people come over I use my projector and ended up unmounting my TV, definitely need to clean up that wall now.
>>
>>51432529
Do you know anything about good projectors for just watching tv? I kinda wanna get one for my apartment to hook my laptop to to watch shit. Any suggestions?
>>
PS4, fuck you niggers
>>
>>51432546
Depends on if you care about the picture lol. If you want a 1080p projector or just a projector that projects(if that makes sense). Let me know your budget etc etc

Nothing. My Black Friday came early.
But I'm probably gonna be stuck flipping it because now I have no money left and I just found out that the Miku Expo 2016 tickets go on sale tomorrow. I don't want to let it go since that thing's twice as fast as my current setup and I do a ton of encoding, but I probably can't sell my current rig without a case, and I want to go to that concert soooooooo bad.
(Anyone in the CT region want to buy a caseless Xeon X3450/16GB ECC RAM system for the price of a Miku ticket?)

I want the best quality for $200. $300 if necessary.

Looking to buy a couple TVs but I'm reading manufacturers are making special models to sell on black Friday that are made with bottom barrel shit left over at the factories.
>>
>>51432636
TRUUUUU
>>
>>51432581
If you just wanna watch TV with a bigger screen, go for like an epson 3220(or whatever the latest model is). Tbh, most projectors offer the same value within each price bracket. If you can stretch out your money, the projector I bought was refurbished 515 bucks. The optoma hd26, pretty dam good. Only gripe with it is how warm it makes the room when playing or watching for over 6 hours. When I use it, it's only for 2-3 hours movie or game session. When people come over, the game session lasts a good 6-8 hours and the room of course warms up. Noise is sorta annoying when everything is silent in the house, gonna dampen the sound whenever I can.

Well that was a long ramble. Good luck choosing the right projector. Only important thing to note when buying is the resolution, brightness(lumens) and reviews.
>>
>>51432636
Honestly almost all the tvs being sold on black Friday are just leftover shit that didn't sell throughout the year because either no one wanted them or because no one wanted them. It sounds like you're getting a good deal but for the people that actually know what to look for when TV shopping, it's just not worth it. You inevitably get what you pay for.
>>
>>51432581
You can also check this out as well.
https://youtu.be/eos3cp29F3k
>>
>>51432711
No not left over shit that didn't sell, they specifically make new models specifically to sell on black Friday, models that never existed throughout the year.
>>
>>51432732

well what exactly do you expect for 100$ I mean shit
>>
>>51432732
Wow, that's a first. Never heard about this until now lol. That's pretty greasy.
>>
Nothing I just bought an 800 ereader foe no reason.
>>
Best best deals on black friday are always on inferior products.

I'm going to buy a whole set of drum heads, they're half off at my local music store and I need 12 of them, I'll probably save like $100
>>
>>51432746
Think about it. im america, tax calc ends on dec 31. start getting rid of that garbage early before it becomes a taxable asset.
>>
>>51432746
its not always shitty junk, I mean they still have a brand name on them. Its just so you can't comparison shop effectively because these models never existed before when you were researching
>>
just got the lg g watch r for $150. now i wait for shipping.

It's both. Leftover shit gets marked down low, but it's mostly not electronics. Shitty companies like Emerson and Westinghouse make a bunch of special TV's for places like walmart on black friday

you ALWAYS get what you pay for; retailers aren't offering amazing deals just because it's black friday.
>>
>>51432774
They made garbage to sell because garbage?

Nesspresso are good?

Don't have room/time for a real machine.

Also looking to get a small TV.
>>
Maybe the 4K Samsung monitor from bestbuy it's on sale for 399...
Or maybe an iPad Air 2, I want something portable and I'm not sure I wanna clutter up my desk with a big ass monitor just to plug into my 13incher. The screen is just so small
>>
>>51430891
I just finished upgrading my pc last week http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8jfcwP.

I'm trying really hard but I can't think of abt /g/ related thing to get atm.

Can you guys think of something I need to look out for?
>>
Not worth it. The capsules will burn a hole in your pocket
>>
>>51432762
the electronics aren't inferior; it's just that the stuff they mark down will depreciate in value so quickly that you can buy them for the same price in February (or maybe January), and you can manage to do it without having to fight off 200-300 faggots at 5am.

My friends and I buy clothing. Good quality clothing will last years and years, and clothing marked down is actually at a discount that you're unlikely to see a few months out.
>>
>>51432790

No, they make cheap shit for tech illiterate grandmothers who can't tell the difference between resolution and viewing angle and blah blah blah

but they know a 32" TV doesn't normally cost 100$ so they buy it and don't care that it isn't amazing
>>
>>51432796
Nope nope.
Your choices:
Actual espresso machine (expensive and time consuming)
Aeropress (cheap and good but can only make one cup at a time)
Traditional drip coffee makers (last tasty of the three but the most convenient)
>>
>>51432819
This anon knows fuck the electronics, clothes is where it's at. I need a new look or just some better clothes for the following year. Feel like I'm wearing the same shit weekly.
>>
>>51432833
Is nesspresso really that bad?

You can easily make lattes.
>>
>>51430891
actually looking to get a Kindle.. will probably just get the pleb $50 one and "buy" like 50 books.
>>
>Sennheiser HD 449

maybe more RAM and a SSD
>>
>>51432941
>Sennheiser HD 449
I have 448 and it's trash. Get a pair of 280s if you like Sennheiser.
>>
>>51432915
It's nothing more than a nestle branded keurig machine. Plus they don't make actual lattes at all.
I know there was one model that frothed milk for you but its as expensive as an actual espresso machine plus you had to take a lot of care of the machine to not let it get gross with mill left over in the piping
The durability on those tend to be awful too, I was looking into getting one for a long time and decided it would be a mistake
>>
>>51432933
I'm considering doing the same.

..but most of the good deals won't ship to Australia.

I have $700 in cash just sitting in my fucking wallet from my weekend server job and I have no fucking clue what to do with it. All of my bills are paid automatically through a bank account supplied by my main job so I just have this disposable income sitting here.

Are there going to be any incredible deals popping up next week? Just shit I can buy?

Maybe some RAM if I can find it for cheap.

Speaking off, is it okay to buy RAM from China through stuff like AliExpress or are they all budget crap that will barely work?
>>
>>51432573
That's a really good deal
>>
>>51433258
700 in cash isn't necessarily disposable income. That's just cash. disposable income is a regular inflow of cash that you can spend on other shit than rent, food, etc...

save your money. when you see "SALE" don't start looking for excuses to give away the cash you've got.
>>
>>51433258

why did you work in the first place then?
